At TeignMobility, we help people get-around Teignmouth by renting-out mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and strollers to locals and visitors.

Our volunteers are absolute stars — they keep the service running, support local health organisations, and make a real difference for people who find it difficult to get about easily.
We operate with only 8 volunteers (we need more..!!)  and are not open all the time, but we will happily help if we can, even if the office is closed. The phone is usually diverted to one of our volunteers.

It’s a great way to meet new people, chat with locals and visitors, and be part of a warm, friendly team. Plus, it feels amazing to know you’re helping others to stay mobile and independent.

The best part...?
The hours are short and flexible. You can volunteer at our rental centre or even help out from home. We cover expenses too, so you’ll never be out of pocket.

We welcome everyone — including disabled volunteers — and we’re all about equality, inclusion, and integrity. There’s no DBS check needed for most roles, just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help.
